We have an apartment! It's a little (seriously... little) place in Forest Park, IL. It's half of the second floor of a house. It has 4 rooms: A nice size living room, a decent size bedroom, a kitchen that's basically a hallway with cupboards and appliances on either side and a bitty bathroom. We also have our own stairway and outside hallway. It's small, but it's big enough for Andy and I. We moved in our stuff yesterday and are set to finish unpacking and organizing today.

It's about a 30 min ride on the El to the city, and has 2 independent theatres within walking distance. It seems like a nice neighborhood, too (in our travels we have already run into multiple Irish pubs and 2 Thai restaurants). There's a library within a couple of blocks too :) I'll post pics later, when we get internet at the place. But I think it's a good change. We've already met our downstairs neighbor, who seems really friendly. Ah, the midwest. It took us months to really meet our neighbors in NY, and we already have been in to see our new neighbor's apartment. It's nice to be back.
